AN event to promote careers in radiography will be held this month.
North Cumbria Integrated Care will be hosting the event alongside the University of Cumbria.
The Mellisa bus will be visiting a West Cumbrian secondary school and Carlisle College where pupils will be allowed to learn more about radiography.
In a post on social media, North Cumbria Integrated Care wrote: "We are hosting a fun-filled careers event to highlight a career in Radiography, in partnership with the University of Cumbria.
"Radiography is an exciting, fulfilling career that bridges advanced technology with patient care - using a range of fascinating technology to diagnose, investigate, or treat patients with illness, conditions, and injuries.
"It will take place on June 25 and on the day, you will be able to take part in activities such as radiotherapy Nerf gun targeting using Virtual Reality, pin the image to correct body part, and much more.
"All of this will be aboard the Melissa bus, which will be at The Whitehaven Academy car park from 10am to 12 midday and then it will make its way to Carlisle College car park from 2pm to 5pm."
