A CARLISLE dance school will open its doors over the summer to inspire more children and young people with performing arts sessions.
This summer, the Razzamataz Carlisle team will be offering a five day summer school in Carlisle between Monday, August 12 and Friday, August 16 for children aged between 4 and 16 at Harraby Community Centre.
Razzamataz focusses on the three disciplines of dance, acting and singing and covers both traditional West End musical theatre styles and the commercial genres covering street dance, pop singing and screen acting.
Children will get to experience a range of different performance styles as well as some of the backstage elements such as stage makeup, directing and costume design.
This year’s Summer School is the perfect mix of pop and modern musical theatre with days dedicated to Taylor Swift, Harry Styles and Six the Musical.
At the end of the week, the children will perform onstage in front of their friends and family.
