Tullie House has confirmed that the popular Digging Deeper exhibition will be extended for another six weeks.
Digging Deeper: Uncovering Roman Carlisle showcases the internationally significant finds, including the two Roman heads, that were unearthed during an archaeological dig at Carlisle Cricket Club earlier this year.
The exhibition, which gives visitors the chance to see the incredible artefacts, has been running since September and was due to finish on November 11.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, Tullie wrote: "We're very excited to be extending Digging Deeper: Uncovering Roman Carlisle right up until Christmas.
"The last day to visit the exhibition will now be Saturday, December 23. That's six more weeks of the heads, beautiful intaglios, & volunteer stories.
