POLICE are investigating a reported common assault, which occurred outside Pennine Way Primary School, Carlisle.
The incident was reported to have taken place in the sports centre car park, outside the school, on Wednesday January 25, at around 3pm - just after school pick up.
The reported incident involved a woman and a child, who were pedestrians, and a man and a woman in a vehicle.
The report is of a verbal altercation and then the vehicle being driven in the direction of the pedestrians.
There were no reported injuries.
A spokesperson from Cumbria Constabulary said: "Due to the time of the incident, the area would have been busy, and officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to make contact with police.
"Anyone who has witnessed this incident and would like to speak to an officer should contact PC 2956 Via the control room by ringing 101 and quoting log 127 of the 25th of January 2023," they said.
