CREWS from Cumbria's Fire and Rescue Service attended an incident involving a 'small' chemical leak in Eden.
The emergency services were called at 12pm on November 15 to the situation on Church Road, Alston.
A spokesperson from CFRS said: "At 12.00 hours on the 15th of November 2022, three fire engines attended an incident involving a small chemical leak on Church Road, Alston.
"Firefighters used one breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to contain the area. Crews were detained for approximately one thirty minutes," they said.
