POLICE are investigating an allegation of assault which occurred at a Botchergate bar in Carlisle.
The alleged incident took place at approximately 2.12am on October 16 at The Glasshouse.
The victim was inside The Glasshouse near to the entrance, when two men assaulted him, resulting in a broken jaw.
A spokesperson from Cumbria Constabulary said: "Police are looking for witnesses to the incident and anyone who can identify the unknown suspect.
"The male is described as white, with light brown short hair and a beard. He was wearing a grey overshirt, black t-shirt and chain necklace.
