BARROW AFC fans' wait is over to find out who they will face in round two of the Carabao Cup.
After the Bluebirds' heroics in their penalty shootout victory over Championship outfit Blackpool on Tuesday night, in-form Barrow would have been hoping for a glamour tie against the likes of Premier League moneybags Newcastle United.
Instead, their Carabao Cup journey continues against Sky Bet League One side Lincoln City will visit Holker Street in what is sure to be another tough tie.
Lincoln City dispatched League Two Doncaster Rovers 3-0 in Round One, and The Imps will travel to the SO Legal Stadium for the first time since Barrow won by that same scoreline in January 2017.
Carabao Cup Round Two fixtures are scheduled to be played in the week commencing August 22, 2022.
Confirmation of date and kick-off time will be announced in due course.
