Police have closed a road due to an 'incident'.
The road between Lamplugh and Ennerdale Bridge, specifically Rose Lea, Kirkland, is closed.
A spokesperson from Cumbria police said they were called shortly before 10:30am today with a report of a Fiat Ducato van colliding with a wall.
North West Ambulance Service attended and took the driver of the van to hospital.
The level of injury is unknown to the police at this time.
Police said the recovery of the crashed van is expected to begin shortly.
A spokesperson from North West Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 10:44am this morning.
"We sent an ambulance and transported a male in his 30s to West Cumberland with a potential head injury."
