ONE man and his dog were part of a team who brought back the silver medal in the European Open Agility Championships.
Steve Richardson, of Carlisle, took part with his dog Willow in the competition for dogs as part of the Agility Team GB.
The competed over four days showing an impressive display of skill, dedication and teamwork.
The Medium team, named GB Gold or Sold, excelled in gaining a silver medal, the first Medium medal since 2013, in the championships final taking place on Sunday, July 31.

Agility Team GB manager, Greg Derrett, said: "With 28 dogs representing GB, there are inevitable highs and lows over the three days.
"Our silver medal in the Medium team event was a great result and is particularly exciting as it's GBs first Medium medal in nine years.
"Although we did not achieve any other podiums this time, many of our teams and individuals demonstrated huge potential and are extremely close to success.
"We can now strive to realise that potential over the coming weeks, months and years."
The silver-winning team was comprised of James Adams from Warwickshire, with his Working Cocker Spaniel, Willow; Lily Dakin from Hampshire, with her Shetland Sheepdog, Scout; Shannon Springford from Kent, with her Border Collie, Gift; and Steven Richardson from Carlisle, with his Shetland Sheepdog, Willow.
Next year will see Denmark host the European Agility Championships, which will be held at Horsholm Sports Centre from July 20 – 23 2023.
Agility Team GB is supported by The Kennel Club, Natural Instinct, Dog Sports Derby and Galican.

The team of 32 dogs and handlers, including reserves, were chosen following this year’s European Open Tryout Day, which was held at Statfold, Tamworth, in March.
