An investigation has been launched after a man died in a crash.
The man died after the crash on the A686 near Alston at 4:35pm yesterday (July 30).
The crash involved one motorcyclist, police say.
The man, aged 55, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said they would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or arrived after to provide first aid.
