Workington Reds fans can see their new kit for the first time as well as grill manager Danny Grainger at an open day this weekend.

The event at Borough Park on Saturday marks the launch of the forthcoming 2022/23 season.

Reds are staging a host of events at their ground for fans, sponsors and volunteers.

There will be events on and off the pitch from 10am onwards as Workington build up to the new NPL West season.

Teams representing Reds in the Community, Workington Reds Juniors, the club's Ladies team and their first and development teams will take to the Borough Park pitch during the day.

Players and management will mingle with supporters in the Tony Hopper bar as the club launches its new 2022/23 kits, with the club shop open to take orders for the new kits from fans.

And returning boss Grainger, assistant Steven Rudd plus directors and players will take part in a question and answer session from 2.45pm to round off the day.

Lunchtime, meanwhile, will also see a gathering in the Shankly Lounge for club volunteers as Reds say thank-you for their hard work.

Gates are open from 10am and admission is free, with the bar open from 12pm and hot food and drink available throughout the day.

Reds' new league season kicks off at home to Mossley on August 13.
