TWO best-selling crime authors are set for a night of literary chat in Carlisle's Cathedral Fratry Hall. 

The event, which is being hosted by Bookends, will bring the minds of M W Craven and Stuart MacBride as they discuss their latest characters, writing style and much more. 

Stuart MacBride is the Sunday Times No.1 bestselling author of the Logan McRae and Ash Henderson novels. He's also published standalones, novellas, and short stories, as well as a slightly twisted children's picture book for slightly twisted children.

Stuart will be discussing his latest novel, No Less The Devil, which was released in April this year. 

The book follows a recently freed killer as he calls on DS Lucy McVeigh for protection from forces even more brutal than himself. 

M. W. Craven is no stranger to hosting conversations with Bookends. 
The Sunday Times bestselling author of the Washington Poe novels (Puppet Show, Black Summer, The Curator, Dead Ground and the Botanist) and the Avison Fluke series (Born in a Burial Gown and Body Breaker). Both series are set in Cumbria and have won multiple awards and praise from readers and reviewers across the world.

Tickets are priced at £8, and includes £5 off purchase of No Less the Devil on the night,  or you can get a ticket for £20, which includes a copy of No Less the Devil.
