A new art exhibition featuring thew work of an international artist is available to view at a small yet popular venue.

Hallbankgate Hub, in Hallbankgate near Brampton, is exhibiting work from artist Helen Alice Johnson.

Helen is a professional artist with studios in Alston and northern France.

Living and working in Alston, an area of outstanding natural beauty in Cumbria, Helen says she is influenced by the beauty and majesty of the landscape that surrounds her.

Her work has been selected twice by Saatchi Art Online, a website that sells paintings, to be part of a collection, the most recent in April this year.

Her work has been described as exploring the relationship between people and nature and how we can work in harmony to make the world a better place.

She is currently working on her ‘Garden Series’, where she visits a garden each week across the UK and Northern France.

From Lambley to Pays de Le Loire, Helen takes visitors to the Hallbankgate Hub on a literal and creative journey in this collection of artworks.

Admission to the exhibition, which is entitled ‘Blending with Nature’, is free.

The exhibition has been running since Tuesday, July 26, and will continue until Sunday, September 4.
