A motorist has admitted getting behind the wheel while more than four times over the drink-drive limit.
Rita Ferguson, 37, of Main Street, Cockermouth, pleaded guilty to driving with alcohol level above the limit when she appeared before magistrates in Workington on Tuesday.
Ferguson was driving a Kia Ceed on Gote Brow in Cockermouth on May 20, when the offence took place.

She had 147mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg.
The case was adjourned until August 8 to allow a pre-sentence report to be prepared by the probation service.
A request was made by Ferguson’s defence solicitor Michael Pope, for an interpreter to be in court when she is sentenced.
An interim driving disqualification was imposed by magistrates and Ferguson was granted unconditional bail until her next court appearance.
