Man taken to Newcastle hospital by air ambulance after serious injury to leg
A MAN has been taken to hospital in Newcastle by air ambulance after suffering a serious leg injury.
Police were called at about 3.45pm yesterday, July 20 to the A591, close to Ravenstone Hotel Bassenthwaite to a crash between a car and a motorbike.
A pillion passenger of the motorbike suffered a serious lower leg injury.
Air ambulance attended the scene and took the person to hospital.
