Gin Cruise – Ullswater Steamers

Enjoy a two-hour evening cruise across the scenic waters of Ullswater, whilst sampling artisan gins. Each cruise date will feature a different UK artisan gin distiller, along with onboard entertainment from talented local artist, Fiona Hanlon to complete the summer atmosphere.

Tickets are £29.50 and the dates are:

Fish & Chip Supper Cruise – Ullswater Steamers

The famous Fish and chip supper cruises are BACK, with musical entertainment from Pete Lashley to complete the relaxing summer vibe. Enjoy a two-hour scenic cruise across Ullswater complete with a traditional fish & chip supper (veggie/GF options available on booking).  

The cruise departs from Pooley Bridge pier at 7:00 pm and returns at 9:00 pm. Tickets are adults £29.50 and hildren under 13 £18. The dates are:

Fish & Chip Trains – Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway

Enjoy an evening on the beloved heritage Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway with brilliant scenic views across Cumbria’s west coast, along with a fish & chip supper complete with mushy peas and a side of bread and butter.

The train departs Ravenglass station at 6pm and returns from Dalegarth at 8pm. Tickets cost £22.50 for an adult and £20 for a child. The date this is available is:

Steam and Ramble with free guided National Park Walks – Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway

A free Lake District National Park volunteer-led short on easy paths by the riverside and through woodland, visiting sites of historic interest along the way.

Combine your walk with a scenic ride on the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway for the full steam and ramble experience!

The walk is an easy+ grade walk which begins from Dalegarth Station and follows the river Esk before a short steep ascent of Stanley Ghyll.

Ravenglass station to The Green – Steam to the hills!

A Lake District National Park volunteer-led guided walk that starts with a steam journey on the heritage Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway up the Eskdale Valley, and returns across Muncaster Fell. This is described as a moderate walk across the fells.

The cost for the train is £9 for adults and £6 for children. The dates for this event are:
