CUMBRIANS have sent their best wishes to a Love Island star after his shock visit rocked the villa.

Jacques O'Neill chose to end his time in the villa following controversy over the Casa Amor episodes, which see new contestants introduced.

In emotional scenes he told the remaining Love Island hopefuls that he felt he wasn't being himself.

Jacques said: "I was ready to break down. I was feeling so mentally drained, I just wanted to go home and get myself right.

"It broke me and I was already broken. I was crying my eyes out. I couldn't cope. I was literally feeling awful. It was the worst I'd ever felt in my life."

People were quick to show Jacques support on social media, sending their best wishes to the tv star.

Stacey White said: "I hope he gets the help he needs and comes back from it happy like his old self before entering the villa."

Lisa Davies McLean said: "Poor lad really hope he is ok, negative comments don’t help either give the lad credit for coming out and talking about his feelings, I hope he is ok."

Nicola said: "I hope he gets some help."

Louise Garnet said: "He’s so brave for speaking out publicly he’s obviously got a few issues. I hope he’ll get the love and support he needs."

Hayley Barker said: "Loved him! Well done Jacques."

Laura Whitmore congratulated Jacques for speaking so openly about his feelings to Luca in the Villa, she said: "You had the nation in tears, I actually feel emotional watching that.

"I think it was a beautiful moment to see men speak like that about their feelings."
