A WOMAN has been accused of stealing more than £230 worth of items from a supermarket.
Lorna Warren is due to appear in court after she was charged with allegedly shoplifting items worth £234 from Asda in Barrow.
The 40-year-old is said to have stolen cosmetics and clothing from the supermarket on May 23.
The defendant, of Cross Street in Whitehaven, is also alleged to have stolen items worth £478 from Tesco in Millom on May 19.
She is due to appear before the bench at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court over the charges on Wednesday.
