A police car was involved in a crash last night.
At around 9;30 pm, a police car collided with a red Suzuki car before then crashing into a garden wall, ending up on its roof.
The crash happened in Mossbay Road in Workington while the officers were responding to an emergency call.
A police spokesperson said: "A Cumbria Police patrol car has been involved in a road traffic collision.
"The police car that, which was travelling to an emergency incident, was in collision with a Toyota Yaris before the police car collided with a garden wall, ending up on its roof.
"Two police officers who were in the car suffered minor injuries, but nobody else was injured."
The road was closed while the crash was investigated and the cars were recovered.
