A CITY CENTRE Road was sealed off as officers attend to a large cannabis farm discovery.
St Paul's Lane, Carlisle was cordoned off whilst police officers raided a suspected cannabis farm.
A spokesperson from Cumbria Police said: "We have attended a property in Lonsdale Street where officers have located a large cannabis grow within the premises."
"The grow is currently being dismantled so people are asked to avoid the area.
"Officers have arrested four men on suspicion of being concerned in the cultivation of cannabis.
"All are currently in police custody."
A passer-by commented: "It stinks of weed.
"As soon as I turned the corner the smell hit me."
