The 55-day wait was finally over for Carlisle United fans to see their team in action again.
Friday's pre-season friendly saw the Blues take on Penrith at the Leo Group Stadium at Frenchfield Park.
An excellent attendance of 1,040 watched United chalk up a 5-1 win.
