Here are our pets of the week

MOLLIE

Mollie is a very sweet 10 year old Lurcher.  She is a gentle, calm and shaggy girl.

Mollie came in with Missie who is also on the website; it would be wonderful if they could go together but can, equally, be rehomed separately.

Mollie could potentially live with another calm dog but no cats or small fur babies.

In her younger days Mollie was known to jump over 5-6 foot fencing and will, therefore, need a secure garden. Mollie’s new owner will need to supervise her when she is having time out in the garden, just in case she still has it in her.

News and Star: Mollie Mollie

Mollie has never lived with children but, as she is very gentle, it might be possible for her to live with young children who understand that Mollie is an older girl and doesn't want to play all the time: she needs her beauty sleep!

If you are interested in Mollie, please email us in the first instance and tell us a bit about yourself and say why you feel you may be the right person for him. Please include a phone number in your email: smallanimalteam@oaktreeanimals.org.uk.

KELLY

Kelly is an 8 year old female tabby who loves to be around you for strokes and head bumps.

She can have a bit of cattitude on odd occasions so would be better homed with adults who will understand that she may like her own space sometimes.

News and Star: KellyKelly

Kelly would be fine around visiting, supervised children. She has previously had outdoor supervised access, as she generally prefers to stay near you, so is not used to being left outside alone.

Kelly would love to have access to a catio

CATIOS are a great concept for cats to have outdoor access without the worry of them getting lost or injured. Google CATIO to read about the different ones you can build. They can be as simple or elaborate as your budget allows.

(For more information on CATIO's, a great place to look is ProtectaPet.  They offer £50 off an order (minimum spend applies) if you quote discount code OAKTREE, plus we receive a donation of £30.  They have a range of CATIOs and pet friendly fencing options on their website https://protectapet.com)

If you want to find out more information about Kelly please email smallanimalteam@oaktreeanimals.org.uk with your name, address, contact number and a bit of information about yourself.
