A SENTENCING date has been set for a Workington man who has admitted producing cannabis over a month-long period last year.
During a brief appearance at Carlisle Crown Court, Carl Miller, 37, entered a guilty plea to producing the class B drug. The charge states that he did this between August 11 and September 15 last year.
No details about the offence - including the amount of the drug the defendant was producing when he was caught - were revealed in court.
Miller also pleaded guilty to a second offence - possessing class B amphetamine.
Recorder Ian Unsworth QC adjourned sentence until July 22 so that a background report can be prepared on the defendant, whose address was given as Bowness Court.
In the meantime, he was granted unconditional bail.
