HERE are our Pets of the Week, courtesy of Oak Tree Animals’ Charity

RONNIE

Ronnie is a highly excitable young lad searching for a new home. This handsome boy is friendly and adores attention.

He loves his walks and likes to explore every nook and cranny, although he can be strong on the lead at times.

Ronnie has difficulty controlling his excitement sometimes and can become overwhelmed. In those instances, he can resort to mouthing your hand and leaping up at you. Currently, we are working on his calmness and ensuring he is mentally and physically stimulated.

He is proving to be a very eager and quick learner.

News and Star: RonnieRonnie

Ronnie needs a decent-sized and secure garden he can call his own and access to quiet areas in which to walk if he requires it. He cannot live with any other pets.

He could potentially live with older and sensible teenagers but this will depend on successful meetings at Oak Tree. Time left alone is to be built up gradually.

BINX

When Binx first arrived at Oak Tree she was very nervous and shy. As time’s gone on, she has come out of her shell and we can now see Binx is a very affectionate lady.

In her new home Binx might retreat back into her shell and her new family will need to give her some time to settle in to her new surroundings. Binx isn't used to dealing with traffic and she will, therefore, need a secure outdoor area away from busy roads.

In her past, Binx had a bad experience with younger children and, because of this, we are looking for a home with older children (12+ years).

News and Star: BinxBinx

Binx has lived with another cat and potentially could do so again, but no dogs.
