Head to the gardens, enjoying some late evening sun with the perfect accompaniment of either a raspberry prosecco cocktail and pizza or a beer and burger, both priced at £6.45.
4. Let’s Greek, 264 London Road
Take a trip to Carlisle’s hottest new restaurant for some delectable Greek food, plenty of choices from gyros to souvlaki.

Two monster bands in one night. As close to the real thing as you can get Blakk Sabbath and UK/DC will blow you away.
6. Ride to the Sun 2022, June 25
A lovely social bike ride from Carlisle to Cramond beach (Edinburgh), overnight, 100.5 mile, cross-border, summer solstice bike ride, arriving for sunrise – free of charge, all you have to do is register online.
7. Repair Café, Botcherby Community Centre, June 26
The ever-popular fix it up for free shop returns to the community centre this weekend, bring anything from garden tools to bicycles to get them back functioning again.
8. Chris McGlade, Old Fire Station, June 24
A fiercely powerful and critically acclaimed show about a brutally shocking story; Chris’ father was murdered in 2011. How do you forgive your father’s murderer? Only Chris knows, and does so with laughter.
9. Saturday Story Time, Bookends, June 25
