AN appeal has been launched to help find the dog of the family involved in the Distington fire at the weekend.
Ged, the families black labrador, went missing after the fire in the early hours of Sunday morning, May 22.
The tragic fire which happened at Tollbar houses in Distington killed father and daughter Archie and Mia Scott.
Mackenzie Leder has launched an appeal on facebook, asking members of the public to help search for the family pet in area's around Distington, Workington and Lillyhall.
She said: "He will be in suvival mode and likely laying low somewhere.
"If your heading out to have a look if if can spot him please remember- no calling/shouting his name, no following him with cars and please no loud or sudden moments if you do spot him."
"His heartbroken owner is desperate to have him back!"
