EUROPE'S biggest T-Rex is coming to Barrow town centre this weekend, and he’s bringing a whole host of new friends with him.
Following in the giant footsteps of Barrow BID’s hugely popular Dinosaur Day in 2020, the Jurassic beasts will be returning for one day only on Saturday, May 21.
Zeus the T-Rex and Tank the Triceratops will be appearing on the Ørsted sponsored main arena outside the Town Hall, with Ritchie the Raptor and Spence the Spinosaurus entertaining crowds on Dalton Road.
With a host of activities lined up for young adventurers including Storytime Adventures, Baby Dinosaur Meets and a special edition of Jurassic Park, the event is perfect for families.
Colin Garnett, Barrow BID manager, who are organising the event, said: “The 2022 Dino Day will be bigger and better than last time. With no COVID restrictions and some bigger and scarier dinosaurs it promises to be a brilliant day once again.
"We’re looking forward to seeing families enjoying themselves in Barrow this Saturday and supporting our town centre businesses.”
The family fun day will be held from 9.30am to 3pm on Saturday, May 21.
