Police are looking for three 'hooded' men in a Land Rover after around £10,000 of shop was stolen from a shop.

Police are investigating a burglary that occurred today, May 16 at about 3:36am at a store on Market Street, Kirkby Stephen.

During the incident entry has been forced via the front door of the shop and stock worth approximately £10,000 has been taken.

It is reported the suspects have travelled from the direction of brough in a grey Land Rover Evoque registration EX62WKC, which at the time had a space saver spare wheel fitted on the rear driver's side.

They have then left the area at approximately 3:38am towards Brough.

The driver is described as male, approximately 5'9'', medium built, was wearing face mask, black trousers, black jacket with grey sleeves and the hood up.

The front seat passenger is described as male, approximately 6'0'', stocky built, waring walking dark coloured booths, blue jeans, black jacket with the hood up and face mask.

The rear sit passenger is described as male, approximately 5'9'', slim built, wearing a grey tracksuit with the hood up and facemask.
