Plans are in place to refurbish and improve Windsor Way play area in Carlisle.
Carlisle City Council is planning to install new play and outdoor exercise equipment then completely re-surface the area at the twenty-year old site.
The council is asking local residents what kind of equipment they’d like to see installed and has launched a public consultation. An online survey is also available at www.carlisle.gov.uk/consultations The closing date for responses is Friday, June 3 2022.

Cllr Elizabeth Mallinson, Portfolio holder for Communities, Health and Wellbeing, said: “We are committed to improving Windsor Way and would like to hear how residents feel the community resource should be developed.
"We will make sure that all the new equipment is high quality, robustly built and installed on suitable safety surfacing.”
In addition to the online consultation, printed feedback forms are also available at Belah Centre and Tarraby View Marketing Suite.
