Fire crews were called to help after a crash left a casualty trapped in their car, on the A69 last night (May 12).
Both crews from Brampton and Alston Fire and Rescue Service were called on scene at 8pm to deal with the crash involving a BMW.
The roof of the car was removed to free the casualty from the wreckage.
Thankfully however, no serious injuries were reported.
A spokesperson from Alston Fire and Rescue Service said: "Yesterday at 20.00 hours, we were mobilised to an RTC with person reported trapped on the A69.
"We worked along side Brampton fire crew who was already on the scene when we arrived, Roof of the car was taken off using RTC equipment.
"Casualty was taken to hospital by ambulance and suffered no serious injuries," they said.
