“We encourage our staff to continue their education and learning journey while working, and it is rewarding to see the staff engage in training and developing their skills to the highest level possible.

“By developing and investing in our workforce, our customers will reap the benefits too as they will be receiving a higher level of service from highly qualified and knowledgeable staff.”

During the session, participants were split into two groups and were each given a Request for Quotation on a new product to be developed. The teams were then tasked with managing the project through its entire lifecycle.

The training provided the Forth team with industry recognised project management tools and techniques, improving their skill sets they can transfer to their daily work with clients.

Rob said: “Everyone had a great day learning new methods and ways of thinking, and it was brilliant to see the team immerse themselves fully in what was being taught.

“When you have a motivated and inspired team, that translates into a higher level of service for our clients and customers.”

Forth, which has bases at Maryport, Cleator Moor and Barrow-in Furness, works with industry leaders across the world in a wide range of sectors to help them deliver innovative and ground-breaking solutions to complex problems.
