A POPULAR Lake District triathlon is appealing for volunteers to help with the running of the event.
The Lakesman, are asking for people to help out for the event between June,17 and June,20.
The main triathalon will take place on Sunday, June 20.
Organisers are asking volunteers to help with everything from stripping wetsuits to making up the 5000 bottles of PowerBar we need for the bike course, as well of course as marshalling on race day
In a statement on social media, the Lakesman said: "It’s fantastic that the world is returning to normal and people have got loads on and we also love that so many of our previous volunteers have been inspired to take part in this years race!

"However, that means we still need volunteers to help us make sure that this years athletes are looked after as well as ever all weekend!
"If you are racing and can spare some time to help with the build, power bar or transition on Friday or Saturday, or if you are supporting family and friends and can help at any point, please volunteer! It’s a great experience you won’t regret."
