A CARLISLE man has pleaded guilty to making nuisance phone calls.
Matthew Gregg, 36, who had originally denied any wrongdoing, entered his guilty plea when he appeared at the city’s Rickergate court. The charge states that he “persistently” used the communications network on January 29 to cause “needless anxiety.”
Gregg, of Shaddongate, Carlisle, will be sentenced on May 19 after a background report has been prepared by the Probation Service.
