CUMBRIA Police are appealing for information after a woman was hit by water from a water pistol in Carlisle's city centre.

A spokesperson for the police said: "The incident happened on Saturday, May 7 at about 4pm near Bodyshop on the city's Scotch Street. It is suspected a group of teenagers were involved.

"Officers are keen to identify those involved and would like to speak to anyone who has video footage."
