Police are appealing for information following a daytime robbery in the Denton Holme area on May 5. 

The two men believed to be in their late teens to early 20's took money from the victim at around 2pm between Denton Street and Trafalgar Street.

A spokesperson from Cumbria Constabulary said: "Police are appealing for information in relation to an incident which occurred at around 2pm on Thursday May 5, whereby a robbery has occurred on the garden area between Denton Street and Trafalgar Street, Carlisle.

"A man has had money taken by two men believed to be aged in their late teens early 20s. The man was uninjured.

"The two men have been described as wearing grey hooded jumper, jack grey tracksuit bottoms around 5ft 5inch and orange t-shirt with a gold chain, dark coloured trousers and slick back hair.

"The two men have got into a vehicle described as silver similar to a Renault Kangoo type car and headed in the direction of city centre.

"Police are keen to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the incident, have CCTV footage or information to identify the suspects.
