Popular fast food restaurant closed for good as lease comes to an end
A BRANCH of a popular fast food restaurant has closed for good.
The Penrith KFC branch has closed its doors indefinitely as the restaurant's lease has ended.
A spokesperson from KFC said: "It’s been a great run, but all good things must come to an end and we’re saying goodbye to Penrith.

"We’ll miss our loyal fans but would never say never to a restaurant opening nearby in the future."
The news of the closure will be sad for all KFC fans in the county, with many customers coming in from west Cumbria as well as locally to sample the mystical blend of 11 herbs and spices on offer.
