With the bank holiday weekend approaching, many of us will be dreaming of a weekend in the sun, but will the weather allow it?
In order to help you make your bank holiday weekend plans, we’ve compiled the Met Office’s latest forecast across Cumbria.
This is what to expect where you are this weekend.

Friday: Highs of 17, lows of 4. Sun and cloud forecast with no rain.
Saturday: Highs of 14, lows of 8. Cloud all day with rain forecast from 7pm onwards.
Sunday: Highs of 16, lows of 7. Cloud for the majority of the day but no rain forecast.
Kendal
Friday: Highs of 15, lows of 4. Sun and cloud forecast with no rain.
Saturday: Highs of 13, lows of 8. Cloud all day with rain forecast from 10pm onwards.
Sunday: Highs of 14, lows of 7. Cloud for the majority with rain in the morning.
Barrow
Friday: Highs of 13, lows of 7. Sun and cloud forecast with no rain.
Saturday: Highs of 12, lows of 9. Cloud all day with rain forecast from 7pm onwards.
Sunday: Highs of 13, lows of 8. Cloud for the majority of the day with rain in the morning.
Penrith
Friday: Highs of 15, lows of 5. Sun and cloud forecast with no rain.
