2. Carlisle United v Stevenage at Brunton Park, Saturday, April 30 – The Blues’ last home match of the season comes against Alex Revell’s Boro who have won three of their last five games.

3. The Baghdaddies at HMV and the Old Fire Station, Saturday, April 30 – Celebrating over 25 years of performing, the world music group will perform twice on the same day. They will have you dancing!

4. An Evening with Henry VIII at the Fleece at Ruleholme, Friday, April 29 – Accompanied by a four-course meal, join Rev Keith Teasdale for a humorous take on the Tudor King’s tales of his six wives. The event is raising money for Eden Valley Hospice and Mind Carlisle & Eden.

5. Alan Carr at the Sands Centre, Sunday, May 1 – With his first stand-up tour in four years, the comic’s Regional Trinket show focuses on the highs of a star-studded wedding day to the lows of spending lockdown on a farm.

6. Korn Again and Spouky Kids at The Brickyard, Saturday, April 30 – The two acts perform some of Korn and Marilyn Manson’s greatest hits. Are you one of the Beautiful People or a Freak on a Leash?

7. Birdsong Walk at Watchtree Nature Reserve, Saturday, April 30 - Resident bird expert Frank Mawby will be leading this fascinating walk, distinguishing the unique sounds of individual birds as they enter Springtime.

8. The Wedding Present at the Old Fire Station, Sunday, May 1 – The Leeds indie rockers are still going strong. In 1992 they achieved a hit single each month, tying Elvis Presley for most top 40 hits in a year.

9. Downton Abbey: A New Era at Vue Botchergate – The latest tale follows the Crawley family on a journey to the South of France to uncover the mystery of the dowager countess's newly inherited villa.

 

 

10. Benefit For Ukraine: Destination Carlisle at The Source Collective, Saturday, April 30 – A number of Cumbrian acts are coming together to raise money for the British Red Cross, in aid of the Ukraine Crisis.
