MAGISTRATES have remanded a man in custody after he appeared before a Carlisle court accused of possessing cocaine with intent to supply.
David Ball, 36, allegedly committed the offence in the city on April 19, the city’s Rickergate court heard. The defendant, of Aylton Road, Liverpool, indicated that he is likely to deny the allegation. Magistrates remanded him in custody until May 20.
He will be produced at Carlisle Crown Court on that day for a formal plea and trial preparation hearing. Cocaine is a Class A drug.
