A new Ukraine fundraiser gig has been announced for Carlisle.
The gig, being held in the city's prolific music venue The Brickyard, will take place on Friday, June 3 - the weekend of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Celebration.
Organising a night like this is a new feat for Katherine MacKay but, after chatting with some friends a month ago she knew she wanted to do something to help the people of Ukraine.
"After talking to a few friends, I realised there's so many good people wanting to raise money to help the people of Ukraine.

"So I thought I'd put on this gig, and I'm really looking forward to it now," she said.
The event will host a plethora of acts well-known to the area, kicking off evening with some acoustic acts, building up into larger band performances finishing the night with DJ's spinning decks.
Amongst the roster of artists include, The Unsung, Polyanimal, Wearequasers, Bees in Blankets, Neil McHardy and Sinannon.
"We've got some calmer acoustic acts lined up for those who may just want to drop in have a pint and a chat before we build up to the bands and DJ's," she said.
All funds being raised will contribute to the Disasters Emergency Committee: Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.
Katherine paid special thanks to those at Brickyard for allowing them to use the venue free of charge, which would have been a 'big cost', meaning all funds raised can be donated to help those going through war.
"Special thanks to all the artists who have volunteered, the brickyard for donating the venue and the night, Julia for sourcing local artists and all the people who have (and will) donate prizes for the ‘silent raffle’.
"I know it's the Queen's Jubilee that weekend, but most events are running on the Saturday and Sunday so hopefully quite a few people will be able to make it on down to hear some great music," she said.
Tickets are available from SeeTickets here or on the door on the evening.
