WHITEHAVEN film lovers have the chance to watch the latest release starring Academy Award winners Jim Broadbent and Helen Mirren.

The Rosehill Theatre will show 'The Duke' until Thursday, April 7.

In 1961, a 60-year-old taxi driver steals Goya's portrait of the Duke of Wellington from the National Gallery in London and sends ransom notes saying that he will return the painting if the government invests more in care for the elderly.

Tickets are available through the theatre's website.
