A CLEATOR Moor man has been told to pay compensation by a court after he admitted damaging three cars in one day.
Appearing at Workington Magistrates’ Court, John Ian Pullin, 34, pleaded guilty to the following offences, all committed on November 14 in Whitehaven last year:
- Damaging the wing-mirror of a Toyota Aygo, causing £200 worth of damage
- Damaging the wing-mirror of a Vauxhall Crossland, causing £599 worth of damage
- Damaging the wing-mirror of a Citroen C3, causing £100 worth of damage.
After hearing the details, magistrates imposed a 12-month conditional discharge. The defendant, of Birks Road, Cleator Moor, was told he must pay £235 compensation to the owner of the damaged Vauxhall.
There was no order for costs as Pullin was already serving a custodial sentence for earlier offending, the court heard.
