A TEENAGE girl was taken to hospital at the weekend after an assault involving 'a number of other females'.
A spokesperson for Cumbria Police said: "Police received a report at 11.33pm on March 26 of an assault earlier that evening on a teenage girl at Bridge End Industrial Estate, Egremont.
"The assault involved a number of females.
"The teenage girl went to hospital to be seen for her injuries. She was later discharged.
"Investigations are ongoing."
