The Lake’s Distillery have launched an appeal for the public to get on board and help reach their goal of raising £1.25 million in 30 days.

The funding was initially opened as a private fund for a week, managing to raise £746,373, from 477 investors – however, the fundraiser on Crowdcube, is now open to the public.

The distillery, situated at Setmurthy near Bassenthwaite, will look to use the funding to increase the organisations warehouse capacity whilst spearheading a further push to increase the amount being produced of the award-winning Lakes Single Malt Whisky.
