A NEW Parkrun event is going to start soon.
Parkrun, an organisation for the quick set up of casual running races, will see a Talkin Tarn race on Saturday, January 15 at 9am.
This will be the first ever Parkrun at Talkin Tarn, one of the most idyllic tarns in the county.
A spokesperson from Talkin Tarn Country Park said: "Please be aware that the site will potentially be very busy from 8:30am until 10:30am.
"Good luck to everyone taking part."
It is free, but runners must register before attending.
