A lorry driver was arrested after being being spotted driving whilst on his phone and reportedly "swerving" along a busy motorway.
Cumbria Police were called to reports of a lorry driver who was driving whilst on his phone on the M6 Northbound around the vicinity of Junction 43 near Carlisle at 9.25am today.
The driver - a man in his 40s - was stopped by police and failed a drug wipe for Cannabis.
He was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst unfit through drugs.

A spokesperson for Cumbria Police added that he has been "released under investigation whilst officers continue with their enquiries."
