A CARLISLE man has been fined £120 for stealing Christmas decorations and candles from the city's B&Q store in London Road.
Stewart Brown, 25, of Eskdale Avenue, stole Xmas goods worth £186 on December 3, the city's Rickergate court heard. He pleaded guilty to theft.
Magistrates imposed a £120 fine and ordered that the defendant to compensate the store, covering the cost of the stolen goods. Brown must also pay £85 costs and a £34 victim surcharge.
