Firefighters from multiple stations were called to deal with a property fire in West Cumbria.
Four appliances - two from Workington Fire Station and two from Whitehaven Fire Station - were called to the property in Distington at about 8am this morning.
Three breathing apparatus and all four pumps were required to put out the fire.
Police and and North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) were also in attendance.
A spokesperson from Workington Fire Station said the fire had caused "severe damage to the ground floor of the property" and that their firefighters were on hand for three hours.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Police and NWAS have been contacted for further information.
