A historical group is asking for help from the public.
Cockermouth Heritage Group is asking for photos from any of the Queen's previous Jubilees (Silver, Golden, and Diamond), and her coronation in 1953, to use for a display as part of the upcoming Platinum Jubilee in June 2022.
They have shared a picture of the River Cocker before it had a footbridge, which was erected to celebrate Queen Victoria's Jubilee in 1897.
A spokesperson from the group said: "If you have any pictures of street parties or other celebrations, maybe in school or elsewhere in town, we would love to hear from you."
