FIREFIGHTERS have been called to action after a tree collapsed onto a building in the night.
A crew from Carlisle West Station managed to rescue 10 giant bunny rabbits.
During Storm Arwen a tree came crashing down on the garage that the rabbits lived in.
Homeowners called for help this morning after discovering the damage.
Firefighters made the area safe at the Wigton Road home at about 8.30am.
A spokesman for the station said: "We were there about 45 minutes making the area safe. We managed to rescue the rabbits who were all accounted for."
He added: "Some of them were a little scared so they got an extra cuddle."
